Lancome Juicy Shaker

Lancome Juicy Shaker Lip Oil

One of my ultimate loves is a lip oil, I prefer it over a balm for treatment and comfort, so when I tried Lancome’s Juicy Shakers for the first time I was instantly smitten. It’s a combination of four nourishing oils – Peach Kernel, Sweet Almond, Cranberry, and Muscat Rose – and a shot of pigment. You shake up the bottle (5 seconds vigorously seems to be the magic number) to combine all the ingredients, and then use the spongy applicator to apply to lips. If you’re like me, one layer won’t be enough…the oil feels amazing and the color is buildable to go from a light tint to a darker stain as the oil sets in.

It’s also great over lip liner or a more matte lipstick for added depth and moisture. Remember though that it is oil based, so too much on a dark lipstick may cause the edges to bleed. I’d say to go for a less is more approach if applying on top of another color product until you see how they work together.

They have also come out with a matte version of the Juicy Shaker, but I haven’t tried it yet, so that will be for another day….

My favorite shades of Juicy Shaker:

381 – Mangoes Wild (bright fuschia)

151 – Cherry Symphony (cherry red)

201 – Piece of Cake (terracotta nude)

341 – Bohemian Raspberry (raspberry red)
